Biography
Hate Mechanism was formed in 2009 by Jake Ettle-Iles (guitar), Ben Rusz (guitar) and Luke Archer (Bass). The band began writing under the influence of late 80s and early 90s metal bands such as Pantera, Slayer, Fear Factory, Exhorder etc.
Hate Mechanism played their first gig on September 18th 2009 which was a huge success and got the band noticed on the Bristol Metal Underground. The band continued to gig and write for the next 3 months.
At the start of the new year Hate Mechanism had some member trouble so parted ways with thier original vocalist and drummer who were replaced by Russ Barron (ex Terrorform) and Kyle Zehtabi (Merihim). The new line up made their debut gig at the Hatchet Inn, Bristol's oldest pub and the band has gone form strength to strength since then.
Hate Mechanism have just finished recording their debut LP which will be released shortly so WATCH THIS SPACE!
