Groundfloor is a band from Iceland that plays alternative acoustic rock. The band was founded in the year 2003 by Ólafur Tómas Guðbjartsson (guitar/lead vocals) and Haraldur Guðmundsson (doublebass/vocals) and started out as a “two man show“ traveling through Iceland. In 2005 the duo developed into a quartet with Thorbjörn Thor (drums) and Harpa Thorvaldsdottir (Piano/vocals). As such Groundfloor decided to record material for their first CD.
