François Carrier (* 5 June 1961 in Chicoutimi, Québec) is a Canadian musician (soprano and alto saxophone) and composer in the field of modern creative and improvised music. Carrier has been active in the Canadian jazz scene since the 1980s; since 2000 he has worked in a trio with percussionist Michel Lambert and bassist Pierre Côté. His album Compassion (Naxos Jazz) won the Juno Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album in 2001.
