FERN PLANET was a Japanese female rock duo signed to the HEAD LINE label.

The band initially began its musical journey in 2013 under the name Rick Rack. During this period, Yamako served as the sound engineer for the band but later transitioned into the role of bassist. However, in February 2017, the band disbanded. Following the disbandment, they reformed as a new band named ELFiN PLANET, performing as a three-piece group. Subsequently, they changed their band name to FERN PLANET. The band consisted of Serina (vocalist and guitarist, born February 7, 1998) and Yamako Meiko (bassist and chorus, born September 1, 1996). They were accompanied by support drummer Haruki Muziguchi (ミズグチハルキ), who joined the band on May 29, 2017. Although initially a support drummer, Muziguchi became a permanent member.

In December 2017, they released their first mini-album titled "stardustbox." Following a release tour from February to May the following year, their drummer Muziguchi departed from the band, and they continued as a duo. In November 2018, they introduced a support drummer and continued performing in this lineup. In March 2019, they released the single "ソルジャーガールズ" (Soldier Girls), which included songs from their RickRack era. On July 17, 2019, they released their second mini-album titled "僕らのトロイメライ" (Bokura no Träumerei).

Ultimately, the band disbanded on December 6, 2019, following Yamako's decision to depart. Serina embarked on a solo career under the name 音羽-otoha-.
