'' It was used as a temp track during the editing of James Cameron's film Titanic, for the scene eventually accompanied by the musical cue called "Take Her To Sea, Mr. Murdoch" on the finished soundtrack by James Horner.'' I had the same exact thought so had to check Wikipedia.

Eh, I'm not so sure about that, Chris. "Book of Days" is pretty popular, but what about Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King"? "Trepak" from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker? The latter has been used in almost every Christmas movie trailer ever, the former in every wacky Hallowe'en OR Christmas trailer. There's also "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)", possibly the most-used song for romantic comedies. (I could go on.) It'd be interesting to know what IS the most beloved music for trailers, though.
