Elvis's "I Got Stung," made it to Number 8 in the States, but it was Number One in England for nearly a month. The song featured the usual RCA dream-team, recorded in 1958 along with some of Elvis's most successful and critically acclaimed songs, including "Big Hunk O' Love." Coming in at less than two minutes in length, the song served as the "A" side to "One Night," another example of Elvis's double-sided single chart-busters, with both the A and B side riding high on Billboard's charts. Recorded while Elvis was on leave from the Army, the song features Floyd Cramer's piano and Hank Garland's guitar. The song first appeared on the famous album 50,000, 000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong, featuring E in his popular gold lame suit.
