Biography
Double Muslims is the moniker of Eric Lee, a Knoxville guitarist who has been creating and performing with various line-ups for years. DM’s current configuration consists of Lee on guitars, Jason Boardman on drums, and Marcelle Good on cello. The music is at once transparent and dense. Lee’s guitar playing is percussive and unpredictable- at times melodic and always dynamic. Marcelle’s cello slithers in and out of the mix, bowed and plucked in conversation with both melody and percussion. The drums are the bass instrument here, adding voice and a low rumble.
