In This Life and Believe Again. It was described by Delta herself as “a lot lighter”, and a departure from the dark days of Mistaken Identity.Goodrem has to date achieved eight #1 ARIA singles and multiple UK Top 10 singles. Her debut album, 2003’s Innocent Eyes, made her one of Australia’s highest-selling female recording artists, spending 29 weeks at #1, and selling over a million copies in Australia and 2.5 million worldwide. While 2004’s Mistaken Identity was unable to match the commercial success of its predecessor, it entered the ARIA charts at #1 and gained multi-platinum status. To date, Goodrem has sold 3.5 million albums worldwide. In 2005, she embarked on The Visualise Tour, her debut concert tour of Australia.
In 2003, at the age of 18 and amidst her blooming career, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a form of cancer. She has since made a full recovery and now spends much of her time promoting cancer charities.

Hm, thanks :D My friend also said Rihanna's always been from Def Jam (sorry, one thing I really don't know about music: labels) so maybe the guy (forgot his name) from the label is just the same manager who discovered Rihanna, not the same label. That makes me happy, I was afraid she was going to a "mainstream label" which would only want to release her stuff if she started to sing electronic songs.

Okay, that's what I remember reading (don't know if it's right, though): I'm trying to figure out The Voice's airing date as well :( just know for sure that the blind auditions have been recorded until today, so that's finished already. The other shows are live shows anyway, I think. So it should air soon? (hopefully). That the album's finished happened before the change of her label, I guess. Will look up the article tomorrow and let you know, haha :)

lol, guess I'm not enough updated. But these are good new, does anybody know when The Voice Australia starts? Being long finished also makes me happier cause I was a little bit upset when she signed Rihanna's label (not sure if rihanna's still in it though) because I was afraid she could change her music style (even though she said the album would be IE-like, things could have changed, anyways). But if she recently signed to that label, how could the album be long finished? Or are they'll be only distributing her album in the US?

Yeah, they split up. But I read (on Delta Daily, haha) a few days ago that Delta said the album was "long finished" and ready to come out. I guess she's waiting until her appearence at The Voice because of the promo. :/

Thank God. I really can't wait for it. But I read on Delta Daily she split up with Nick, wasn't he working with her on the album? (as far as I know, this is how they met though) Won't it be bad for the album release?

And no we didn't get to hear it :(" - I knew we would get new music as soon as The Voice start in Australia! And I heard there'd be a song featuring all the Jury members or something? - Whatever, I believe 2012 will be a year full of Delta-music :) and I can't wait for it! ♥
