Death by Snoo Snoo was established in Oulu, northern Finland, in the fall of 2007 when a group of local fellas began to play cover versions of Beastie Boys’ early HC-material. The band initially played gigs under the name Moominvalley Hardcore Crew, for example warming up for the legendary Finnish hardcore pioneers, Terveet kädet. Soon the band decided it was time to start making songs of their own, and then it was also time to change the name of the band.
