Biography
Dj Kiddley(James S. Houston) - (formerly Dj KIDD) is an unsigned Dubstep Producer/Dj based out of Italy. Although born in the states, Dj Kiddley is constantly on the move. Some say its the thrill of adventure.
Dj Kiddley has a unique style of dubstep new to the genre. The style is mostly a mix of Progressive House, and "Grimey" Dubstep. This style is growing on fans to this date. Dj Kiddley's pristine use of synthesizers and heavy low basslines push the genre to new outward realms of the dubstep style. Thus helping make a large step for the electronic music world to become much more diverse.
Dj Kiddley began producing in early 2009, by the end of the year he dropped his first unsighned album "Between Knives" on YouTube and months later, after the encouragement of close friends and family members, Dj Kiddley "got serious".
"I saw so many endless possibilities with dubstep! It was seriously exciting! My heart throbbed with the bass and my head bobbed with the beat, I just loved the fact that the ideas I had could easily be transformed into something so real. It's just the idea of making someone else feel their heart beat as their adrenaline flows from their ears to their entire body! I could make entire crowds jump at once, or throw a rock fist up with the damn play button! After that I was hooked!"
In mid 2010 Dj Kiddley dropped his second unsigned album "BassMore University". With the help of a public music sharing network called "SoundCloud" the album was heard around the world from the US to UK, Germany, Greece, Australia, Spain and even as far as Japan.
Dj Kiddley's music, by late 2010, had been heard, played and downloaded in nearly 35 countries/territories.
Dj Kiddley made his next move with his newest unsigned album "G Force". Where he mixes genres with his love for dubstep, "G Force" is the show and tell for unsigned dubstep producers all over the world. He continues to drop tracks almost weekly on "SoundCloud.com" and seems to have a drive to continue his work for the next few years.
