Biography
D:VICE (aka, DJ D:VICE, aka d:vice) has been an iconic part of the Upstate NY music scene since his early days as a bassist for the garage bands Maximum Occupancy, and Plaque Jacket circa 2002. Producing music since 2007, D:VICE took a unique approach to blending music with the addition of two turntables to his musical arsenal. on Sunday, May 10, his first album to ever surface for public consumption "Friday" was released free of charge on www.djdvice.com. "I never intended to produce a rap album…. with my own vocals" says the 19 year old producer/mc/turntablist. D:VICE has built a strong following at SUNY Plattsburgh through his weekly Free rave style concerts at the now infamous "50 broad".
d:vice went into seclusion after the release of Friday, and re-emerged with the full-length self titled "d:vice" on October 25 2010 (in conjunction with d's retirement, opening at a G.D.P. show). "d:vice" was mastered and mixed down in 24bit resolution, and distributed by d:vice on a limited, localized basis. there is no official source for the public to download the album.
