Biography
D'Bamby is a teenage girl band from Bogor, Indonesia.
Formed in 2004, began with the school band in one high school town of Bogor. At the beginning of the D'BAMBY using Z-BUMB as name, with the early formation Dini on Vocal - Listya on Melody - Nesya in Rhythm - Ica on Bass and Astri on Drums. In the past high school, Z-BUMB often follow many events and festivals, from ridicule and bullying Z-BUMB continue to fight until the Z-BUMB finally succeeded in becoming a winner at various festivals until it slowly began Z-BUMB recognized and respected chance. From stage to stage, Z-BUMB eventually became the band featuring various bands and become a commercial event to be proud.
In early 2006, the drummer Astri resigned Z-BUMB Due to busy filling various events in various areas that cause the Astri's family does not allow her participation to come on board "for some reason?"
For several years the Z-BUMB eventually fill the vacuum drum with auditional position player, there is a GIANT, INDRA etc until finally the Z-BUMB find Ditha figure who eventually joined the Z-BUMB to fill the drum position.
Not long after joining Ditha, bassist Z-BUMB (Ica) has finally decided to resign in early 2007 as well, because Ica is not sanctioned career in music by her parents. Various kinds of trials facing the Z-BUMB with vacancies at the bass player, Z-BUMB survive and continue to struggle with filling the void with auditional bass.
In mid-2007, Z-BUMB won a festival Jabodetabek scale (Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi) became a favorite band of hundreds of bands that competed and Z-BUMB promised by organizers to be made the album. And the process of this album is done within one week. They tried to track record of ten songs, but the organizers stopped the process amid our album, but because it was half over we finally decided to continue with this album, and in early 2008 was born our first album which they titled "Sebuah Perjalanan".
With all their efforts to promote the album and they were grateful the album is perfectly acceptable even if only on a small scale. The journey continues and we still play from stage to stage as usual.
Late in 2008, they became acquainted with one of the producers label (which had long vacuum) and he offered to work together to make them interested enough basic familiarity with his arm around us and we finally agreed to produce our latest album. And in November 2008 we finally got back into recording, producing our latest works with the freedom of expression and changed their name to D'BAMBY.
At that time, which was previously Nesya guitar position switch became bassist. And beginning in 2009 finally completed their second album and the soft launch was carried out with the title of the album "Satu Cerita Untuk Cinta".
But the gaffe was suddenly approached, they like to lose their mother because of problems with their label. And with all their efforts again decided to keep fighting in the latest album independently until they finally had to take the attitude to have resigned from the label, but during that time their single played on radio charts and managed to occupy and gain a positive response of Indonesian music listeners.
After they have resigned from the label, their album became like a child hanging chickens lost parent. They persisted and finally we vacuum in the movement of Indonesian music and the album was silent.
Continue to survive to maintain the integrity of D'BAMBY passed all tests and trials and remain true to the circumstances and always be yourself, they continue to improve the quality of music by continuing to practice, until D'BAMBY presence of a new partner who fills a position on keyboard in D 'BAMBY and her name is Indah.
D'BAMBY so has a new musical colors. Music more cheerful and strengthen the character of D'BAMBY music. Right now they're trying to find a new label to produce the album "Satu Untuk Cerita Cinta" by the addition of a keyboard inside. With the new concept and the same song D'BAMBY re trying to package the songs contained on the album "Satu Untuk Cerita Cinta."
And now they wait for time to return to the Indonesian music scene, having decided hiatus in April 2009.
