Biography
The first one is a death metal band from UK which formed in 2005. Finally solidifying their line-up in 2009 and releasing the ‘Convocation of Crawling Chaos’ demo, Cruciamentum was soon signed to Greek Nuclear Winter Records through which they later will release an MLP.
The other one is a split-up black metal group from Norway (Larvik) consisting of members of Dies Irae. They only released a demo in 1993 called ‘Luctus Infinite’.

The whole 'bestial/occult/blackened' thing really bothered me up until a month ago; I couldn't work out if DM was evolving into it's version of avant-garde BM or whether Incantation's influence was powering through... Now I see it's both and each band is evolving their own way, but into similar styles.

taken from the band's facebook page: "Due to guitarist/vocalist D.L. leaving the UK, 2013 will see the final live performances of Cruciamentum, concluding at the end of a US tour with the Chaos in Tejas festival. Writing is in the final stages for a MLP via Nuclear Winter Records, for which a release date will be announced in the new year. Further performances are to be announced soon, including a final UK performance in London on March 8th with Lvcifyre, followed by a date with Pentacle in Italy on March 9th."

@Prometheus1984 The EP is fine, it's a shift from the demo, mainly in production quality but I still enjoy it a shit load, definitely a great taster of things to come. Plus, I've seen them 5 times and they've NEVER disappointed live.
