Who are Corvus Stone?

Pasi, Colin & Petri began this collaboration in 2011
In 2012, we were approached by drummer Robert Wolff (previously in RAVEN and MICAH) & he instantly became a permanent member of the band.
Artist Sonia Mota, heard early demos and started painting ideas that came to her when listening to the music and went even further and named us "CORVUS STONE"
In just a year, we were ready to release an album!
We are indeed labelled as progressive rockers but our albums are not "in" that genre in a normal sense. We don't fit any other genre, so that means we default to the genre called "prog"
It is all about the music and combination of the sounds we choose. It is never about solos. It isn't typical prog , jazz fusion, funky 70s TV music or Rock. It is all of those and more.
Late in the recording process, Blake Carpenter asked Colin to play guitar on "The Road to Avalon". Blake loved Corvus Stone & suggested that we allow him to write lyrics for & sing "Ice King". The result was amazing and Blake has been a permanent guest with Corvus Stone ever since.
We are known for having many guests and all of them become very involved in whatever song they appear on. All of them are exceptional people and musicians.

Colin is also a member of BunChakeze, Colin Tench Project, Oceans 5, Coalition, Transmission Rails & The Road To Avalon(with Blake Carpenter and Zoltan Csörsz Jr).
Lemmy is an ex-member of Lyijykomppania and a current member of Saturn Twilight and Progeland (he's also included on various other projects).
Pasi has had his Psychedelic Eye music project and for some years has been the archivist for Black Widow and has been a great encouragement and help to them. They recently released their first new album in 40 years
Nobody was asked if they would like to join this band. Everyone wanted in.
