this album has some nice tracks and its really conscious.i think why common made this so commercial is to appeal to wider audiences and deliver a message to larger amount of people. i like it

This is definitely not his best, but it is great commercial hip hop. I listen to this when I take road trips. It fits in nicely with Dorrough, Soulja Boy, Weezy for my fun music and it helps me stay up on those long 6 hour trips back and forth from college. This album still manages to shit on Soulja Boy & Weezy's music, so I don't see the problem.
