Biography

Jang Bo-ram (Korean: 장보람; born April 9, 1995), known commonly as Boramiyu (보라미유) or BRMY, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and cover artist.

She started uploading song cover videos on her YouTube channel in July 2017, and videos are still being uploaded steadily to this day.

At the 2017 Melon Music Awards, she performed IU's ‘Dear Name’ on stage, but unfortunately she did not receive a solo one-shot due to a camera accident.

She appeared in the 5th episode of Season 5 (Episode 62) of ‘’, which aired on March 2, 2018, as the 'Sillim-dong Coffee Fairy (신림동 커피요정)' talent. A clip from the show of her singing ‘좋아’ by Yoon Jong Shin has established over 36M views since. She became a prominent contestant on the show, however was ultimately eliminated in the third round. She had been a trainee for about 5 years, but went through a slump due to frustration with her debut and problems with the company, and it is said that she appeared because she wanted to show off to her parents who were waiting for her debut.

On October 12, 2018, she began her singing career by participating in the OST for the South Korean drama series with the song'좋았는데’. On November 21, 2018, she made her official debut with the release of her first single ‘널 싫어 하고 싶어

After signing with , she continues to upload her cover videos via YouTube while releasing her own songs, since reaching 490K subscribers on her YouTube channel.

She launched her fan communication app ‘Dear You Bubble’ on October 4, 2022.

Her fandom name is ‘뽀시래기’.
She has since went on to make various OST’s for Korean dramas, and still releases her own songs and covers.
