Black Hour is a progressive/alternative rock band founded in 2007 by guitarist alongside his brother Hashim Mahmood, drummer, Diam Mehmood in Islamabad, Pakistan. Soon after, they were joined by Tayyab Rehman on vocals and Salman Afzal on bass guitars.
The band has been featured on many international forums such as WikiMetal, The Metal Archives, Unite Asia and radio channels in countries such as Brazil, Finland, Russia and Canada. lack Hour shifted their musical lyrics from English to Urdu in 2019 when they were featured in Pepsi Battle of the Bands and released their third studio and first Urdu album titled in 2021.
