Mission of Burma due to his tinnitus, he co-formed Birdsongs of the Mesozoic to perform quieter music. Initial personnel were Roger Miller (piano), Martin Swope (guitar), Erik Lindgren (keyboards) and Rick Scott (keyboards); all personnel doubled on various percussion instruments.
