    No it's not, you wouldn't file RIO acts alongside Camel would you. Avant-Garde Rock on the other hand isn't a thing. It's one of those undefined terms like Experimental Rock that are only used on Wikipedia or RYM (or a failed synonym for avant-prog since most these artists aren't really "rock").
