  • "I like to say our band's mere existence as an all female band is a political statement unto itself." - Antigone Rising on why they are "not overtly political songwriters," even if their founding member did appear on the cover of TIME magazine kissing her wife in April. The New York City band also discuss their journey from Starbucks to Kickstarter, and the songs that they wrote along the way, including "Don't Look Back," "Borrowed Time," and their latest single, "That Was The Whiskey," which was inspired by a very memorable night in Florida:
  • New Album "23 Red" is nice.
  • So bummed that I didn't actually get to see them a few days ago. Oh well, hopefully next time. :(
  • Looooove. <3
  • Where can I find their cover of "Fat Bottom Girls"? That was the best part of their show -- save "Michael", my fave song. I saw them open for Rob Thomas in 2005.
  • My fav is Waiting, Watching, Wishing. I know it's a cover, but I like Cassie's strong vocals over acoustic rock. Some of the rest is a little too 'coffee haus' for me.
  • I just discovered them... they're really good! And it's cool that they formed at Bucknell, that's like two minutes away from my house. lol
  • That they do!
  • I love these women. They rock the house baby!!
