Biography
Andrew Foulds from Sheffield/England found his introduction into the music world when at the age of eleven was tutored in playing the highland bagpipes and by the age of thirteen was writing and composing music for the instrument. His talent was recognised by the then Pipe Major of The Royal Scots, who was so impressed by this young boy, he included one of his works in the Regimental repertoire. His music being played to a global audience by this prestigious and historical band.
He became involved in the electronic scene later on in life when he started experimenting with his own unique sounds. He sampled, resampled, layered and manipulated them until unrecognisable then, used them as building blocks to his tracks. His more modern day work has been released worldwide bringing about acknowledgements and praise from other established artists of his genre. Because of this it has brought about opportunities to work with other artists in the music industry whom he has been able to gain experience from and insight in to the creative aspects of writing. He has written music for arts festivals and several shows in the USA bringing about more interest from production companies and record labels.
His more Dark Ambient work is what he focusses on more but he is constantly developing his craft, experimenting and perfecting his music.
He writes in many genres including Dark Ambient, Ambient, Experimental, IDM, Minimal, Electronic and music for Film and Television.
