Biography

Andrea Ferro (born August 19, 1973) is the male vocalist of Italian band Lacuna Coil.

Ferro was born in Arona, Italy. He started playing music and singing from a very young age and is one of the founding members of Lacuna Coil. He was originally in the band Sleep of Right when they hired vocalist Cristina Scabbia to do some backing vocals. Cristina later became the permanent female singer for the band and Lacuna Coil was formed.

    I think most of this hate is coming from post-Karmacode fans. His voice is perfect on all of the albums prior to that one. And don't forget that that album was meant to widen the fanbase and get more pop fans, which meant more emphasis on Christina's voice and even then they contrast well.

    I totally agree with runforafall. His attempt at singing makes me feel insulted to live on the same planet as someone ruining awesome Lacuna Coil songs ON PURPOSE.

    I lol'd at the two tags. Seriously though, his voice is pretty good but just not suited for all of Lacuna Coil's songs. He sounds much better on the acoustic tracks, too.
