American Head Charge, the Minneapolis-based band, which had its genesis when Cameron Heacock and Chad Hanks crossed paths in a Minnesota rehab facility in 1997, has up to now been known primarily for the radically dysfunctional behavior of the band members.

  • Still doesn't sound cheesy or outdated like a lot of their contemporaries. [2] I agree that Head Charge have always been a notch above the others... in the upper-echelon of this genre... (would prefer to call it something other than 'nu metal') a certain level of creativity, melody... and radiance (or something) that was just significantly higher than most. Definitely interested in hearing the new "Tango Umbrella" album in 2016...
