Strawberry Prince (すとろべりーぷりんす), also known as StPri (すとぷり), STPR, or Ichigo no Ouji (いちごのおうじ), is a 6 member, all-boys entertainment unit whose main activities are holding live streams and uploading songs. The group was formed on June 4, 2016 and they currently have more than 2 million subscribers. The group was created by Nanamori, who was gathering a group of people who did activities online. The current members of the group are Nanamori (leader), Root, Colon, Satomi, Riinu, and Jel.
They usually represent themselves as illustrated characters, instead of showing their real faces. Their music has been featured as promotional songs for other medias, such as Yo-Kai Watch and Knives Out. As well, they sometimes have collabs with VOCALOID producers, such as NayutalieN and rerulili.
They started making original songs in 2017, starting with Strawberry Prince Forever. In 2019, they released their debut mini album Strawberry Start. Within one week, the album had more than 80,000 sales, and achieved second place in the Oricon weekly album ranking.
They held two no-audience live concerts in March 2020 and August 2020 respectively, due to COVID-19. The group have their own virtual models that are used in Virtual LIVEs, the MV of Feel Free!, the Strawberry Prince x Meiji Collaboration, and other medias like interviews. They sometimes use them as alternatives to showing their face.
