Biography
Remember Your Name is a Russian musical group playing in the acoustic dark folk style.
A distinctive and recognizable feature of this project is the soulful and deep female vocals combined with piano and accordion. Remember His Name overcomes and absorbs various traditional and modern genres: from classical music he draws academicism and concentration of performance, from French chanson - drama and the ability to fit a whole story and life into the text of one song, from Russian folk music - melodism and length, from darkwave - atmospheric. Minimalism, emotionality and emphasis on presenting the meaning of the poem are the fulcrum of the musical group, which often uses the verses of such poets as Sergei Yesenin, Alexander Vertinsky, Eduardo Carranza, Dmitry Kachmar, Vladimir Tok as a basis for songs.
Since 2014 the group has been giving acoustic concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
