Moscow, Russia based post-punk/darkwave band. The printed city rhythm, Stalin's skyscrapers on the covers and poster texts are combined with simple melodies and the desire to twist the stadium sound in the spirit of Simple Minds or White Lies. For a few years the band has 6 EPs and a related compilation album. They have opened European post-punk Soviet Soviet, Jessica 93, Kill Your Boyfriend, participated in Moscow Music week in 2018 and 2019 and are constantly present in the thematic rotations of Radio Culture. The latest Powerhouse solo concert on the occasion of the release of the 4th "Pictures" was a request for conceptualism of concerts comparable to the performances of Shortparis or Drab Majestry. Frowny, gloomy - typical character of a Russian-speaking person, lyrical hero of "frowning".
Группа Хмурый — мы вообще новый русский рок. Печатный городской ритм, сталинские высотки на обложках и плакатные тексты сочетаются с простыми мелодиями и стремлением накрутить себе стадионный звук в духе Simple Minds или White Lies.
