Re:Action

On the afternoon/evening of Saturday November 22nd an all-ages music festival will take place in the heart of King Street on the grounds of Newtown Mission Uniting Church.

This event is designed to do the following:

1. Promote the work of local, creative professionals, with a particular emphasis on showcasing a selection of the many talented emerging and established music acts from the local area

2. Raise awareness of the impoverished conditions that many of our fellow Newtown residents are living in.

3. Raise money to support the work of Compassion: an initiative program run by Newtown Mission which seeks to practically assist the homeless as well as other struggling members of this community who are living with sickness, in isolation and in poverty. All proceeds will go towards the work of Compassion.
