FROM NBCs THE VOICE SEASON 7 - Luke Wade stood out. As one of Pharrell Williams’ understudies, this Dublin born soul singer, who grew up in Texas, never let any of his ailments- from being blind in one eye, to overcoming temporary brain damage- stand in his way of making his dreams come true. In fact it was having this unusual perspective on life that made Luke the singer/songwriter he is today. Compared to a wide variety of artists, including Ray LaMontagne, the release of his new album “The River” is a culmination of Luke Wades story.
