This was weird. Tellison were okay although struggling to see why they need 3 guitarists (keyboard added little and the scratchy guitar noodling was odd). Crazy Arm were simply too loud (as in, too distorted to make out) which was a shame. STD were good but not as good as their last two London gigs. I was at the front and struck by the amount of "gig arseholes". There was a dude in front of me who seemed to have taken it upon himself to be a "white knight" and defend the ladies at the front. This basically consisted of him violently slamming his arse backwards into me and anyyone else immediately behind him. Next to him was a girl who kept leaning over and shoving people's arms away, despite them not actually touching her. Come on guys, what's the deal? It was a tiny venue and everyone was excited. Nobody wants to hurt anybody, but treat people with respect and you'll get it back. Or don't be on the front row if you can't handle someone else's arm touching your shoulders.
