I've slowly been giving in to your suggestions. I absolutely love Clams Casino. I really got into his mixtape, but his EP is a step above that, and I really hope he follows in that same vein on any future releases. I just recently (ie, yesterday) started listening to St. Vincent. I really like Annie Clark. Her Polyphonic Spree/Sufjan origins are very, very apparent, but she carries herself well and I look forward to listening to her later albums. I'll get comfortable with "Marry Me" before I move on, though. I promise that I'll make my way to SVIIB; just give me some time.

Haha yeah, I'm pretty sure it strips page breaks for some reason. I thought I'd give you recommendations with justifying reasons, but instead I'll just list some artists and say that they're all good and worth listening to: No Age, Zola Jesus, Toro y Moi, Youth Lagoon, and SBTRKT. I'll definitely be sure to check out the bands you suggested.

Hey, you too! Last.fm obviously isn't a proper friend-making platform, but I definitely like being able to match musical tastes with somebody and then discover new stuff I might've overlooked. Anybody new you'd recommend? I've never listened to St. Vincent, but I've heard great things about her.

good choice... Radio Dept.'s latest album "Clinging to a Scheme" is a good place to start but their whole discography is filled with good songs... also, do I know you? or did you just happen across my profile? I have a feeling your profile pic is not very representative so I can't tell... happy listening
