Everything's 320 kbps CBR MP3, but Memento and Mirage of Verity are transcoded files, so they're not pure 320 kbps. Other than that, yes, everything else is max quality.

No, I'm not even from Europe so I didn't have a chance to listen to it beforehand the release. About that comment I made, it was a reply to a user who posted a teaser video. And that teaser video just compiles all sound from the 2 documentary videos about TQE.

Nope, I didnt go to the press listening session. The album is HUGE, yes. However, almost nothing in the trailer belongs to the album... most of the track of the trailer are bonustracks, so dont expect a 80% of the trailer hahaha

Hello : ) I'm doing fine, just finished my exams and now I'm enjoying 4 months of school break :D How about you? Well, I've been listening to this album for a while now, and I'm completely in love with it (except for 'Where is the Blood'... it's just average track... nothing special though thanks to annoying man vocals :P). I was never into Delain as I used to consider them as rather weak and generic band but luckily I got into them more 2 months before their concert in Poland and since then, they've grown on me : ) Still, their newest album is simply perfect, I cannot say the same about previous ones even though they're quite enjoyable they miss that power and some kind of soul that WAtO truly has : )

Yeah, that could be true! I love ballads, but hard songs are cool as well if not I wouldn't listen to metal at all :P I just didn't like they way guys are taking over the main side in Epica leaving Simone somewhere in background sometimes. I always loved how symphonic bands combined women vocals and harsh growl - it suits each other so well!

Guilty Demeanor is so annoying for me xD It sounds as if Simone has her nose blocked, and it's the weakest track on the album IMO. My favorite is Delirium and Depp Water Horizon but maybe it's because I look for something different than you do in symphonic metal, I'm more into touching lyrics, angelic voice and instrumentals that bring me shivers! I also like heavy stuff but on Epica album I just feel that it's very uneven.

I also went to see them live 2 years ago :D Except the fact that Simone seemed to be in her world during gig, everything was fine and I had so much fun : ) Honestly, I have different view than majority of reviewers, but it's that my taste is a little different :$ I prefer Epica from older albums. I heard some songs of Opeth, they're great band but I'd prefer Epica to stay as Epica without infruences from other bands and pregressive stuff. Avalanche is my probably favourite track, so miserable yet so beautiful! It is a ballad at the beginning but later grunts are coming and it's more powerful later also some choirs come what gives it more variety : ) I don't like Deter the Tyrant so far but I'm becoming more into Stay the Course, especially when Simone's vocals are coming ^^

In my opinion all songs that you listen over and over might become 'ok'. You just have to get used to them :D But still, I can't say that I like some tracks from RftI, maybe I will change my mind on a concert :) Were you on any Epica's concert so far?

The thing is that the parts you dont hear in the snippets are the most changing ones, for example, a clear example is Monopoly On Truth, since minute 4, there are like 4 changes, (new choirs, 2 different guitar solos, slow part sung by Simone and the end of the song which is really CTO... that's just one example... judging by the samples it looks a simple album, but the parts which are not showed are the most different ones, you will see :P

Well, I already explained why I said that :P The first time I listned to DTC or DYU, they completely attraped me just in the first spin, but with RFTI it was really different, song did not attrape me until the 10 spin or so hahah, but now I am completely in love with every single song of the album :)

Changes aren't bad, but I just don't like when a band is trying to change their spirit let's say. I think that guys want to show some of their abilities to play heavy stuff and ignore the symphonic soul of Epica. Also I don't know whether Simone will be able to sing all of the parts from new album as her voice is more diverse I guess what might be a bit troublesome for her during concerts...

Neither did I. I listened only some songs but definitely not my style :P For me Requiem for the Indifferent is totally different and it leaves you with kind of melancholic feeling, this stuff is very rigorous and it really needs much listens. I wouldn't like Epica to become another MaYan and lose their sound...

I hope you won't change your mind when you'll finally listen to full songs :) I had different point of view at first but this album grew on me although I wouldn't consider it as my favourite of Epica - maybe too much grunts and Mayan style?

I have full album, and Internal Warfare is so far my favourite track on it along with Avalanche : )

Que foda, cara. Infelizmente, eu tenho pouquíssimas coisas do After Forever. Só umas reportagens em revista, dois cds, três camisa... Moro em Aracaju - Sergipe, não consigo achar muita coisa aqui, achei algumas coisas de nightwish, mas After Forever é quase inexistente :/ De onde vc é?

Entendo... Eu ainda to no vício do Female Fronted, mas sempre gostei mais disso, desde criança. Comecei aos 5 anos gostando de Pato Fu, aos oito veio Avril, Pitty, aos 9 epica (se bem que apesar de ser o 2º lugar da minha lista, eu ja não gosto mais como antigamente), depois Nightwish... E to nessa até hoje. Mas pra mim, a banda mais incrível que existe é After Forever, eu amo as letras, a floor, os músicos, os vídeos, é inexplicável rs. Eu sou apaixonado por female fronted bands, e conheci uma, All Ends e to extremamente viciado. Conhece?
