Hey, are you going to Unsound Toronto (Luminato) at Hearn Generating Station on either night? I'm for sure hitting it on Fri. the 19th, mostly (if not totally) for Stars of the Lid. wasn't too sure, but i'll also be at EE, for sure now.

FYI, Garrison shows start a little late. Like I imagine the opener wouldn't start til 10. Whenever Ive got there at 9:30 it is a GHOST TOWN. I actually saw some of Grimes at NXNE... I kind of left. I wasn't feeling it live and it was late. Also, Chad VanGaalen who was on before her totally threw her under the bus. He went over is slot by 20 minutes or so. He didn't say "hey Grimes is coming up next", BUT did tell people that maybe if they were lucky and headed to the horseshoe they could catch One Hundred Dollars. Such a burn... though I don't think it was intentional.

Yeah when I saw Gobble Gobble it was super hot! Lots of people dancing in a basement with poor ventilation creates quite the warm environment. I also had a winter jacket... which I eventually took off. ha I think tomorrow night I will be sitting with some coworkers drinking beer and eating pizza. I hate the Garrison... I have yet to really enjoy a show there. I don't know what is wrong with that place. I'm not fond of the sound there... but I dunno. It just doesn't have the magic.

Its not the worst album out there. I can definitely imagine falling asleep to it, or having it on in the background while I read on a pool deck.
