well I've listened to Bon Iver once through now, first impressions are very good- 'Wash.' is especially beautiful, I think. Have to say I'm struggling with the last track- finding it a bit soft rock-y. But I'll certainly be coming back to it; shouldn't have taken me so long to listen to this. how was James Blake?

hmmm no that's a very good explanation and I will have to listen - it took me a long time to really appreciate For Emma, so I am prepared to be patient. It will take a lot to convince me it's better though!

The truth is I haven't really listened to the new Bon Iver album- only Calgary and Holocene, which I both like - but I am a massive fan of For Emma so I would have loved to see him anyway. You think the new one's even better?

well thanks, I'm actually in the same boat with Bon Iver- I think i had put myself down as 'interested' but I didn't realise the tickets would sell out so quickly so yeah, a bit gutted about that. I think I might be away then anyway so oh well. You should definitely come to Lykke Li if you can- I've been waiting for that for a while since my friend and I went through to Glasgow in March only to find out she'd cancelled it :( I would go for Best Coast over James Blake- but that's just me, I'm sure he'd be great as well- whichever you choose can't be bad:)
