Hey, just wanted to say I think the album's pretty great, and thank you very much for it, and well done to all involved. I also downloaded albums by Immanu El, Gregor Samsa and This Town Needs Guns from your top artists, and liked them all.

Sure thing, good luck in your search. I downloaded some EF last night, after seeing it on your profile then one of my friends' right after. Pretty sure I liked it, but more listens will be required. I fully intend to investigate some others of your artists. I'm trying to think what to recommend you if you like My Vitriol, I guess My Bloody Valentine, and maybe Vex Red or Septembre. I see you've listened to the first two though, although only a little. The Last.fm Similar Artists for My Vitriol are pretty good, so I'd just try them, as I'm sure you have.

The other weird thing is The Samuel Jackson Five are your second top band, who were my top artist for the first 6 months to a year after I got Last.fm (a different account, way back in 2006). I've just got 749 plays of them across both accounts, not much compared to you. Anyway, seems like you might be pretty cool. I decided to check if you were on my neighbours (don't ever really check there, I should), but you weren't. From your top 15 Sigur Rós, MaybeSheWill, Mogwai and Deftones are all high up my charts. I should definitely check out some of your other artists. As for your own music, I'll probably try to listen to some more in the future

You have strange charts. Practically half your scrobbles are from your top 15 artists. I don't actually know how strange that is, but it's more like 25% with my top 15. That's not really the strange thing. The strange thing is My Vitriol are your top artist. You're probably the only person on Last.fm with more scrobbles of them than me (I have about a third your number). Maybe if I'd found you from the My Vitriol page it wouldn't be weird, but I found you from the shout you left on Mogwai's page (and a few others, from the sound of it). I never usually click links as it's usually spam, but I tried yours. I think it helped that you just put the link and no words which would have made it obvious as spam, unless you just lied and said it was a Mogwai live performance or something. It also helped someone else endorsed your link. Anyway, I clicked it, and I liked it, and here I am.

eh, not a big fan of the vocals, but instrumentally tight as fuck. I like it. Gonna need to give it a few more listens though. Also, impressive charts man.
