A lot of Elmore James songs do share same "Dust My Broom" riff, but that was sometimes at the behest of the label folks and record producers because it was part of his "(hit) sound"–the blues is full of signature licks and riffs as you may know. I've listened to about every Elmore James song recorded, and many times each, and if you do the same you'll notice that there was more variation than is noticed if you check out more of his tracks. I'd check out his song "Something Inside (Of) Me" which doesn't use the riff (personally I love the riff and could listen to it all day) and is one of his best...

Exactly! Did they really need to play el dorado or wild wind blows? That's 16-20 minutes they couldve used for 3 or 4 shorter classic tunes, maybe something fast like aces high or something punchy like wrathchild, wasted years...maybe something unexpected like Tailgunner or Futureal, both fast to break up the slow intro's they abused on the setlist. Yeh, 2 minutes to midnight was too early on definately. We get its the final frontier tour, but 5 tracks out the 10 still comes in at nearly 40 minutes of the setlist and they left the alchemist out, the most older-sounding maiden track on the album. I looked forward to the talisman but he couldn't nail the 'weeestwaard' high note, gutted. 6 albums were left untouched :/

Hey. I'm glad someone agrees, it seems anything negative said about them gets you burned on here, but they just weren't as good as they should've been. They were excellent on the classics but after 25+ years of playing them, they could play them in their sleep. Too many long tracks too, and as much as I love running free, as a closing track, it's a bit anti-climatic don't you think?

Ja, that is quite some mileage...lol!! But if ever there was a band that's worth it it's PJ. This is my review of the Hyde Park gig if you're interested http://www.hardrockrevolution.com/SMF/concert-reviews/pearl-jam-hard-rock-calling-%28hyde-park%29-25-june-2010/ My video of Yellow Leadbetter is on there too :)

I enjoyed the main event and the return of mega heel Jeff Jarret. But wish Hardy would do more!

Ask me in 2008, I'd say TNA. Ask me in 2007/2006, I'd say TNA again.. Although WWE was good in 2006.. cause of Edge/TripleH/Cena (LOL!) 2009? Mabye TNA's year, because of AJ/joe/daniels again.. This year my friend? I dont know. Gotta say WWE. although, RVD/JeffHardy teaming up earlier in the year was Bad ASS!!!! Nexus was good. and so was Daniel Bryan' so. Its a tough call. Your thoughts?

BFG was cool, bragging rights had the awesomeness that was Danielson/Ziggler but wtf was Tyler Reks doing on ppv. Turning point should be good with the main event..
