Hi Ryan, I was just scooting around looking for new music and looked at your Events list, I can't believe how many gigs you have coming up!! Do you think any of them will go ahead? I've booked a show in Paris in November just for something to look forward to but I can't see it going ahead. I'm really reluctant to book anymore at the moment. I don't go to as many gigs as you but I'm desperate to see live music!

I haven't listened to Lupe Fiasco. So I'm rather confused how it got on my page? I was at Uni during the time I was meant to be listening to it... odd.

I have my laptop plugged into the stereo and at my party there was indeed a bit of Deadmau5 and even some Tiesto. Neither of which I'd probably listen to in a normal situation, although I don't think Deadmau5 are that bad!

You should check out Satogold (not really hip-hop but quite like M.I.A.), A Tribe Called Quest (the track Electric Relaxation) The Roots (the Seed) Blackalicious, Black Star (Brown Skin Lady and Thieves in the Night- both amazing songs) :)

Yeah i love that album, it IS really fun lol. Yeah the Roots are amazing, and the gig was so full of energy. Are you into hip hop? Check out my playlist (which is still under construction)

Well there are sure worse ways to spend your time and money!! Yeah I've been to plenty myself, soulwax, police, the roots etc... but not so much this year, I'm in a big exam year in school,so don't really have the time:( and had to give up my job to study so no money either lol. But this summer won't know what's hit it, concert wise:D ps i see you like fight like apes!

Yeah I just felt that after having seen three bands already Glasvegas were a bit melancholic. Needed something more upbeat. Friendly Fires were ok, I only knew their singles though. I'm gutted that White Lies aren't supporting the Snow Patrol gig I am seeing. Not bought RLC tix yet. I am not sure I will be going as it's mothers day and potentially I may be moving then! Meanwhile I am off to see the killers on Friday. Whoop!

What did you think of the NME gig? I thought White Lies were by far the best... was a bit bored by Glasvegas I am afraid to say. Florence was pretty crazy... I like her!

Hey! I'd have to say my fave band currently is White Lies, though I haven't got either Friendly Fires or Florence and the Machine's albums as yet, so that may be why. Really like them all... great value gig!! Can't wait! I'm hoping to go see Red Light Company too... Just not got round to booking tickets yet!
