I usually keep it on shuffle while hitting next until I get to a song I like and then listen to it 100x. Uh, he doesn't read his own audiobooks, this guy with a deep voice does - he puts on really weird voices for characters that are female/children. McCarthy dominating my last.fm charts was the result of an 8.5 hour drive. I didn't know you could link twitter and last.fm :O

The highest quality bootleg is definitely "De Kreun Kortrijk". But I prefer "Live @ Vicar, Dublin" because the songs (especially Surfer's Hymn) are more developed.

Ah, you know Fennesz already? If you've not heard it, check out the album he did with Ryuichi Sakamoto entitled 'Cendre', it's absolutely gorgeous. And yes, Earth can be very downbeat but 'TBMHITLS' is a truly glorious album, never fails to make me feel contented and warm. Let me know how they work out for you. :)

Yeah he's touring 66a, and I'm seeing it soon, but at the beginning of this show he mentions moving out of his flat, so I started to wonder if they were the same show under different names. It might not be the same thing, but I'm going to wait until I see 66a live before listening to the rest of this in case it is.

You're absolutely correct, I've only listened to them yesterday and today and they're already at the Overall Top Artists list I've had since January! I need to listen to my favourites more often.

I listened to a few minutes of it, and it seemed to be fine. I got confused though, because it's the same show that he's doing in the UK soon isn't it? Although it has a different name now. But anyway I'm seeing it soon, so I don't want to spoil it.

They didn't come out all together, they came out in the order I said below over the course of 2 hours. I also asked Malkmus if they are doing any new material and he said they're working on some. :D

Met them outside the venue after waiting for two hours seeing them in waves. Mark and Spiral came out first then Bob then Steve and Stephen. Got pictures with them all! Malkmus was actually pretty cool, I asked him what he thinks of the Fall playing at ATP with them and whether he will say anything on stage haha. He said "We'll see"!

Nah apparently he was in London but he was fine in Glasgow! Met him after the gig as well :)
