I ended up enhancing the overall sound on Height of Callousness after having issues with Demoliton Hammer being too distorted when I bought the CD version and ripped it to my phone as WMA (Windows Media). Currently I have 2 Rock EQ settings enabled and a tweaked version of metal EQ on VLC media player, I always thought it was my hearing but it was a lack of EQ enhancements. I might also re-rip HOC a higher bitrate to see if it can get any better as it's currently VBR 64 WMA.

Yeah would be nice if there was an update for the new Silent Civilian album which I read in their shoutbox someone (or a few people i read it before I posted my original message and forgot) the new singles were lacking. I also need to listen to them more. Been trying to get other artist boosted but I keep finding more. Yeah I suppose he finished his portion of the stuff, dont know what's the hold up, especially with Silent Civilian they had this album in the works for like I don't remember but it's been forever it seems.

Yo man, see your still scrobbling on here. It took me awhile but since I figured out how to work this scrobbling thing on my phone using VLC and the Last.FM app (universal scrobbler quit working and my plays were stagnant) I still need to get a bigger MicroSD card but maybe I can scrobble more on here.

Doesn't Spotify have commercials now? I was having trouble accessing my AUX output on my car one time and I just used Spotify on my phone and it would have ads in between songs. Streaming and my reduced speeds on my phone (using too much data) doesn't work but seeing VLC works great but getting the default playlist to work is a bit problematic. Still it's like the old days. And I see Last.FM is still glitchy as ever. I couldn't reply to your comment and after closing and opening a new tab it finally worked.

You should. For some the vocals get a little while to get used to and some just don't like them, I never personally had an issue. Otherwise the bands songs, riffs, solos, lyrics and mix of metal to chiptunes is just amazing.

Love your Reuben plays, I remember finding them back in '06 (Kerrang! magazine I believe) and I was a huge, huge fan. Listening to them now feels a bit bittersweet with all those great UK rock bands long defunct. I still dig it.

Yes, time flies fast with our hobbies like music :-) We have seen drastic changes when CBS bought lastfm. But the devs are still working, they have a forum where one can see this. Let's hope one day lastfm gets to where it was once again. I am glad that you as one of the oldtimers still roam around here :-) Have a nice musical evening.
