I saw that you are a fan of jazz albums from 1964. Have you listened to any of these masterpieces from that year? Booker Ervin - The Blue Book, Wayne Shorter - Night Dreamer, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - The Freedom Rider, Donald Byrd - A New Persepctive, Lee Morgan - The Sidewiner, Freddie Hubbard - Breaking Point

wow, you are into all eras of Genesis. I'm getting more and more into the post-Abacab stuff, even Calling All Stations has been a good listen. Currently enjoying the s/t from 83 (s/t for self-titled, not for s**t HAHA) cheers!

https://www.last.fm/music/Electric+Masada/At+the+Mountains+of+Madness (Its available on spotify too finally). It's very crazy and brutal pushing the boundaries of advant garde jazz endlessly. I would recommend you another free jazz which would be https://www.last.fm/music/Otomo+Yoshihide%27s+New+Jazz+Orchestra/Out+To+Lunch. You can find this one on soulseek. Have a nice day/night!

for a moment I thought about deleting that comment in the shoutbox of the Bill Evans trio, I felt like someone who says how things should be and I don't like that. I really think there is great relevance in the "trio", but who am I to be dictating about other people's scrobbles out there? Luckily you didn't take it the wrong way. By the way, do you know "Promises" by Floating Points with Pharoah Sanders and London Symphony Orchestra? If not, it's a hint of a more experimental sound involving a jazz guy. I hope you enjoy.

do you mean what I like particulary about Sanders? I think the man is amazing, he's a machinegun just like Coltrane, haha. Though to me in "Promises" Sanders is all about softness in his own way. Anyway, I fully understand when you say u must be prepared to listen to it. I used to listen jazz all the time some years back then, but today I'm surfing all around, I became very ecletic. At some point of my life I listened Sanders' "karma" a lot, but nowadays I honestly don't remember the last time I listened to something of him besides this work with Floating Points and london Orchestra.

I really enjoy the 1965-1966 era of John Coltrane's music, particularly because of his experimentation with free jazz. I love the way in which He pushed the boundaries of traditional jazz music, incorporating unconventional rhythms, complex harmonies, and extended improvisation into his performances. Particularly his live albums with the quartet at the moment.

lol! haha i confess it is hard for me to say this, since I consider everything from Trespass until Wind & Wuthering complete masterpieces. So, if you are into prog, as I see from some of the bands you like, all these are a great! And I do recommend you listen to them in sequence, along the day. It is a great experience. Even though I prefer the prog years, I also like a lot their 80's onwards albums, I think they are very creative. I see you also enjoy some of those. My favorites are Abacab and the self-titled album. The only ones I don't like are the first and last albums.

try Entheogenic's debut album (it says 2008 in spotify, due to it being its re-release year, but it is actually from 2002). It is a very atmospheric electronic album, but with beautiful progressions through the songs: https://open.spotify.com/album/51H7cIftsfSnC62QVbDaCM?si=akb4m6xyRRySfw-_dn0bOA . If you like this, be sure to check Anthropomorphic and Enthymesis by them: https://open.spotify.com/album/25rz2g2rdnw9YueymiJuSs?si=V5602UsRSJ605k1UYSq_AA . And then the rest of their discography.

there are some amazing gems within the various subgenres of electronic music. Other artists I recommend are Autechre (albums LP5 and Exai) )and Tim Hecker (album Ravedeath)

Refuge Denied - simple straightforward us power but great, Into the Mirror Black - has some prog elements and more mature and variable songwriting, very dark album, is their peak for sure and new anniversary version has some great live tracks and demos, i am insane demo is amazing https://youtu.be/xLTFXllaKis .Inception - a great remix/rerecord of old demos and songs from refuge denied, So i rec. Into the Mirror Black for the start and then Refuge Denied and after all Inception.

Exactly, and I agree with your comments, saying you "hate women" because you're not saying her new album is great (when it's not) solely for the sake of supporting her is absolutely ridiculous.

En realidad, Zappa tiene mucho para explorar, Hot Rats creo que fue mi primer album, pero hasta sus incursiones en la música clásica son buenas.
