Southern is cold and busy. January is a miserable month to work. How are things with you? I am a recent John Fahey convert, so am probably not the best person to ask. I heard Robbie Basho was in a similar vein, but having listened to one of his albums, it didn't really come close to the Fahey standard. But maybe i should give it another chance. Just back from Japan so am slowly working my way through my purchases. This is what life is all about!

Hi MAte, since updating Last.FM iScrobbler, and while using iTunes 8.0.1 (12) it updates and scrobbles no problems. I use the iScrobbler on automatic if that's any help. It was the Last update on itunes & that cause all the problems for me, but they seemed to have fixed it!. Got the Faraquet LP, the tunes are wicked! i like 'Parakeet' and 'Yo-Yo'

Origo is ok, but I think Prey on Life is their best album. The songs seem more cohesive to me. I just downloaded the MOTA split, and I agree it's great, I'll definetly be buying it!

Mouth of the Architect are great, more of a Neurosis vibe about them then Rosetta. I really need to hear the split with Kenoma. I think Translation Loss is one of the best upcoming labels around at the moment.
