youre the only sane person ive found on here so i gotta ask genuinely why does this site attract some of the strangest most mentally ill unhinged creatures to ever walk this earth? ive met so many human case studies throughout the deep dark depths and if i had a dollar for every autist, for every alcoholic using their shoutbox as a diary, for every neo nazi, every porn addicted weeb and chronically online schizophrenic ive encountered in this graveyard i honesty dont know how rich id be, there has to be something about the nature of last fm that makes it attract these lunatics turning it into a melting pot for all the outcasts of society. i know the entire site isnt like this but it still feels so disproportionate to almost every other online space ive been in being similar to mid pandemic discord, kiwifarms and /b/ are the only worse two i can think of (though thats a bar so low it goes down to hell so it feels like unfair competition)

the only explanation i have for the abundant autism is that some of the only people who care enough to use a site like last fm religiously are people on the spectrum who have a special interest in music or hyperfixation on certain genres, makes the most sense and i dont have an issue with it because theyre the most harmless but everyone elses existence confuses me and makes me wanna put a bullet through my skull

Autism is one hell of a drug and it manifests in lots and lots of different ways, I think this website is actually a lot less depraved than most of the mainstream social medias but there the ratio of normal people to freaks is at least 100:1 and on here it's 1:10 (but way, way closer to 1:1000 if you don't count the profiles that don't interact with any of the social features of this website), mostly due to the autistic hyperfixation you mentioned and focus on numbers going up, like how every MMO and JRPG where you have to grind for virtual numbers is kryptonite for autists and usually avoided by most normal people. I like it here though, I like interesting people and weirdos (but not sickos)

I've had an album cover in my head for MONTHS and I've been looking for the album, but cannot find it anywhere. I think it was goregrind judging by the cover, it was a real young girl with her face SMASHED in, eyes bulging out and stuff. Late 90s or early 00s i think. The pic used to be spread around as a "frazzledrip" image, but I can't even find those threads either for leads. I remember this album being fairly popular but I've not been able to find it

and btw, i might not be keeping perfect track of my absolute favorite performances, but ive been "trying" to write down the most notable ones, so whenever you feel like it, i think i could slide in a few recs (and one last thing, trying to judge whether a performance is great just by looking at the setlist doesnt really work with uw... found so many insane ones where the setlist looked so basic at first glance. its the versions they manage to pull off within those limitations that really elevate it above everything else)

Lecący z Kuala Lumpur w Malezji do Pekinu samolot Boeing 777-200ER należący do Malaysia Airlines zniknął z radarów nad Morzem Południowochińskim. Na pokładzie samolotu znajdowało się 227 pasażerów i 12 członków załogi. Po utracie kontaktu z samolotem rozpoczęto jego poszukiwania[13]. W niedzielę 9 marca wietnamski samolot odnalazł plamy oleju unoszące się na wodzie oraz niezidentyfikowane części mogące pochodzić z zaginionego samolotu, jednak po kilkunastu godzinach okazało się, że były to fałszywe tropy[14].
