Hey! Glad you like my site. Unfortunately the amount of requests I need to make to Last.fm's API is roughly one for every friend of every user currently using the site, every 10 seconds. So I have to limit the amount of friends a user may view in order to keep the site operational considering the amount of traffic it gets. I used to refresh every 5 seconds and display all friends but Last.fm blocked the API key due to a high request rate. As for which friends get picked - I'm not sure. I provide the limit to Last.fm and they pick who to respond with, I haven't looked into that. There isn't really anything I could do to change that either.

There's a documented API endpoint that requests a user's friends and their now-playing all in one go, which would solve this problem and drastically reduce total requests. The bummer is that (like most of the API) it no longer works and Last.fm is too short-staffed to fix it. As soon as the new API comes out - whenever that may be - you can be sure I'll fix this problem. Until then, I'm sorry!

I love it! Only wish it was longer. The chorus is sooo well produced. I was iffy on the vocals the first time I heard it but they grew on me.

Hey there. I had thought Last.fm was having more server issues as that causes problems with my site all the time, but it seems they actually blocked my API key, bizarrely. I just swapped it out and everything is back up and running. Hopefully they don't take action again, I'm not breaking the guidelines as far as I'm aware.

Agh I just revisited Fox's older EPs (Throwdown, All This Time, etc) and they're still sooo good. It's crazy. Power Glove is bae. They're what got me into Synthwave as a whole and now I can't live without it. :)

I listened to the album a little while back after noticing it had a bunch of Brut tracks I hadn't heard. Haven't played the game, though. Maybe I will! On that note I haven't played Hotline Miami either...

Hotline is pretty darn good, too. Both are twitch-shooters. But very different games.
