That's rather odd indeed, had a goldfish last 3 years when i was a kid which i thought was unusual anyway. Died the same day though, definitely a strange occurence indeed. His solo stuff is pretty fucked up, some pretty cheery tunes and a few melancholy ones nearer the end of his career. Took him over a year to record his last album to my knowledge just because he was constantly doing a runner and going back to cambridge. Was his 65th birthday not too long ago as it goes, bless him.

Think the encore was my favourite part as well- I love the fast, noisy fifteen second songs from the first few albums. Yeah, I have a few other things lined up - going to Supersonic at the weekend, then seeing Swans again later in the month- should be fantastic. How about you?
