noooo. dumb. look at how the songs are scrobbled. it was like tom waits, otis redding, tom waits, otis redding, tom waits, etc. i'm unlocking the whole of my album collection on two computers. and they both have last.fm on. and i always have "unplayed" smart playlists that contain all the songs that have never been played. those playlists (they're on all my computers and my ipod) exist solely to remind me what i've never listened to, but in situations like this, all that music is already old, so i just play through all of it so it's not in the play list. since i'm playing music on two computers...well, i think you got it by now. shuffling is anti-victorism. sorry if i seem defensive. i'm passionately anti-shuffle.

haha, ya, I was. I was interested because of the whole African influence thing that's going on with the album... I haven't listened to any of his other solo works. Anyways, I really like it. It's a super fun album and I enjoy it very much. I really love the playfulness in his voice as he sings the songs. but I definitely still need to listen to it some more.

I actually don't even have the album haha, but it sounded great when I did hear it, thats for sure. I started in reverse with his last album "from a basement on a hill" first, and oddly enough I wasnt too big of a fan of him at first, it took some time to grow on me, but it definitly did

I really enjoyed "Keewatin Arctic"! That throat singing stuff was far out, and the chorus was epic. that song was way too interesting. seems like I become a bigger fan of Canada everyday, so many great musicians it has passed down here
