Yh, was a big fan of C&tCS, seen them several times live, both the old line-up with Rowland Howard + Mick Harvey, and the later versions. In 85 they played at the Pandora's box festival in Rotterdam, and they were so loud there were static electric sparks in my hair ;D

Weird, i've been here in Oslo for almost 20 years (18). Your stats make me wanna check out Severed Heads and the Died Pretty again.. lost track of 'em both since the 80s. Saw the Died Pretty live in Amsterdam once.. they should have been as big as REM in a just world (but then The Church should be as big as Radiohead ;D ). Also owned a killer 12" single by Severed Heads (white w.blackish sleeve).

Yh. the 'Charms & Blues' album is very different to the I Am Curious EP, but try and give it a few more spins before making your mind up about it. It's a more ambient, cinematic take; I love Karin Janssons voice singing those very signature-style Steve Kilbey lyrics (I've been quoted on that in Steve Kilbeys biography hehehe), especially the track Insomnia is a masterpiece.
