yep, my Gibson is verry light, especially compared to the stratocaster. gotta love that! thanks for the rec. on an ibanez, my bro has a 6 string ibanez and he wouldn't part with it when i asked to buy it.. ! lol

im not sure when it comes to bass guitars.. ive got a stratocaster, its kinda heavy, love my gibson, but they are wayy expensive to buy another one. ! ill probably get whatever i get a good deal on.. lol

i LOVE the sound of bass, its my favorite sound in the world. But i have yet to get to jam on a bass guitar.. i soo want one, but have been broke lately.. ahhh.. one day ill get one.. ! :)
