Olá : ) hoje em dia os the yardbirds só conservam dois elementos originais, são eles Chris Dreja e Jim McCarty; as aquisições mais recentes são Ben King (guitarra), Andy Mitchell (voz) e David Smale (baixo). (mas isto já tu deves saber :p) É super estimulante vê-los ao vivo, porq estamos perante uma banda super talentosa e com história que foi "reformada" através da entrada de elementos mais jovens, sem se perder a essência e o espírito de outros tempos. Adoro Ben King, toca com tanta alma! Foi a primeira vez q tocaram em portugal! Para ser sincera eu só soube da sua existência recentemente através de um colega, pesquisei sobre eles e o Douro Blues veio mesmo a calhar xD

3 euros or 3 pounds sterling isn't much, I agree. But I suspect if more people had paid equivalent dues, then the full track withdrawal wouldn't have happened. Of course I could be wrong, but no one has proved otherwise, yet. As for the major artists you mention, record companies can be very shrewd with how they maintain the sales of artists who have ceased recording years ago. I've written about that elsewhere already. In economic terms by creating scarcity you add value. Again I know that I have read about the issue and the reasoning behind it, but really should have researched it again to give a more plausible answer. Anyway with all these matters the problem is about not only maintaining sales but the margins that record companies enjoy. All those revenue streams though are collapsing, and the muddle extends to Last.fm. But yes, I agree, particularly for these long gone artists. PS: Why haven't you joined the Group!
