Jaaa! traditional swedish christmas! xD im so excited. Ive noticed that Sverige doesnt rly get many tourists. When i am in the states I get very upset when i see that people are nosy as hell and stair. But i have to remember that when people stair at me here in SE it is because I am speaking in english not in svenska and because i have and American accent. So far everywhere that i have used my Californian ID no one knows how to read my age. hahaha...it rly tells me that Americans primarily go to Stokcholm, not the tiny little villages. So far i have visited, Skåne, Halland, och Småland and I love it! Today in Henköp this lady started telling me that she has never met an American from California when i gave her my ID. It has been a lot of fun so far and i cant wait to be here permanently. But anyway, besides work, how have you been? I know you live in Skåne but what city do you live in. Hope you are well. ha en bra vecka

Hejsan! Yes I am here! I'm living in Laxvik as well as Halmstad. But currently I'm visiting my gf's brother in Skillingaryd. I love that it is snowing! So far I've bought some liquor at Systembolaget and some beer at Hemköp and every time I do the cashier's get so excited that I'm from California. It's the best. I also love that it's snowing!!! Very rarely do I get to see snow falling in Cali so I'm loving the weather. Oh but yes I know exactly what you mean with finding a job. It's pretty tough atm. I hope you have some luck and get a good job soon.:D

Jag bor och arbetar i San Francisco och har varit en släng ett år. Jag flyttade till Sverige för ett par månader tillbaka i 2009 och gjorde en del reser runt Europa också. My gf of 4 years recently just moved back to Sverige as she is a citizen. I am, unfortunately, an American (as you can tell with my horrible swenglish) and so I am waiting for my papers to process. Should be in Sverige by the end of winter. :D But you live very close to some of the towns I've been to. I've been all over the south and the east mainly: Lund, Malmö, Båstad, Laholm, Halmstad, Varberg, Kungsbacka, och Göteborg. When I go back I plan on visiting the north and the west also. xD hur är det med dig? arbete och skola?

Overseas? The weather here in California isn't too bad. It has its gloomy yet nice times of the day. I have a friend living in Uppsala right now and he says the weather has been very cold. I have to get used to the cold again. Jag saknar sverige så mycket. Jag återvänder i januari. You live in the east or west??
