2024 was an excepional year for me in discovering new sounds, and i will soon be putting together a playlist of some of my favorite newly discovered musical gems from last year, that will for sure include Father John Misty's I Guess Time Just Makes Fools of Us All (from his new album that You recommended). However, here is the tune that is currently my #1 from that exceptional crop of musical gemstones. Langhorne Slim's Changes is folkish in style, and the lyrics border on genius. Father John Misty scored a bullseye w/ Mahashmashana, and In my humble opinion, It would have to be considered a strong contender for AOTY w/ not a weak track on the entire album. My favorite track? Hehe yeah, I went on a BBK singles binge - listened to a fair number of B-sides of theirs I've never heard before - some are fantastic. Now I'm onto Minus the Bear, as recommended by Diego.

Good to see some BBK love!!! Fantastic album, I still think Hitchhiking in New Zealand is one of if not my favourite song of theirs.
