Oh, lucky you, having a friend to watch anime with >.< Let's see... well... Gin no Saji is pretty good... it's a slice of life anime that only recently started from the maker of FMA:B... And if you haven't watched FMA:B (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) yet, I really recommend that one... 64 episodes packed with action and a very good story line... unless you or your friend don't like shounen... in that case, hmm... Senyuu is a 5 minute, 12 episode anime that's quite funny... If you're into drama, try AnoHana... just 11 episodes... And from the summer 2013 anime, as earlier said, Gin no Saji and maybe Blood Lad or Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou... both are pretty good...

Summer season 2013 anime, eh? Not the ones that you mentioned, though I heard about them before... the ones I've been watching are Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou, Servant x Service, Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku, Love Lab, Blood Lad, Watamote!, The World God Only Knows III, Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C3-bu and Gin no Saji... it's quite a lot, actually, now that I'm listing them all and aside from Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku, I think I'm really gonna like each one of those 8D

Well... I have only watched 1 episode of Shingeki no Kyojin... I have this habit of watching the first episode and then going to the next anime, even if I actually liked that anime... I've watched lots of first episodes like that... I was planning to watch some more of Shingeki no Kyojin this week, but some other things came up... I have yet to read my first visual novel, though I am slightly interested in it. Never heard of Danganronpa, though XD

Hmm, you might like Red, but after listening to those two bands you named, I think Switchfoot and Anberlin might be better recommendations... As for anime, I watched Bakemonogatari and Fate/Stay Night... One Piece is very long... I think they have over 700 chapters already, though I'm all caught up XD I need to watch Fate/Zero sometime soon... And Shingeki no Kyojin and, and... so many more >.<

Hmm... "alternative" is a pretty vague term nowadays as a lot of people nowadays use to it to refer to any kind of rock... For now, I'll recommend Red, simply because it's my favorite band at the moment and to me, their first three albums didn't have a single song I didn't like... Lie To Me and Buried Beneath are songs I recommend. I can't listen to the two bands you named as I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I might be able to recommend something better based on those two bands... As for my favorite anime, I'm never able to choose between One Piece, Detective Conan and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood as my favorites XD What's your favorite?

Not much just Nujabes, Nomak, J-Dilla, MF DOOM, Madlib, Chuck Inglish and Uyama Hiroto. I have all Nujabes albums too. I've been mostly listening to Nujabes and Nomak lately though. I love Lady Brown and Blessing. I've only discovered Japanese hip-hop Instrumentals (Nujabes in particular) a months ago. I was so impressed, I love that shit lol. Can you recommend me anything? The thing is with Nujabes is that his intrumentals are out of this world but he chooses some wack mcs (Shing02) that I don't really wanna listen as much as the instrumental. Some of them do alright in some songs doe. I've heard Marcus D before, didn't really like him. But I'll give Bop Alloy a listen. The cover look amazing!!!
